Business Development Representative

Red Nova Labs provides the most advanced technology solutions (storEDGE) to the self storage industry, powering over 4,000 storage facilities across the country. We are looking for a seasoned SaaS Account Executive to be part of a team that is focused on growing our customer base!

The self storage industry has been re-invented in recent years and is on the rise with more demand than ever before. As a talented Business Development Representative, you will be using a defined sales process to identify prospects and their needs and selling a cloud-based point of sales solution to self storage facility owners and managers. We simply want ambitious, hard working people who love a challenge and fast paced environment. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and abilities for the good of the customer by working closely with sales management, product management and support to enhance the customer purchasing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities from cold and warm leads
  • Maintain high levels of prospecting activity and sell to all levels of management
  • Give in depth tours of our storEDGE product and manage the entire sales cycle all the way to solidifying a contract
  • Understand the industry and competitive landscape in order to explain and show why storEDGE is the better solution for self storage facilities 
  • Quickly establish credibility and trusted relationships with prospects
  • Become an expert at presenting how storEDGE helps self storage facilities improve efficiencies
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future
  • Be supported by a business development rep who will help set appointments for the team and pre-qualify prospects

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of SaaS sales experience 
  • Bachelors degree, MBA a plus
  • Experience selling to all levels of management
  • Experience with Google Apps and Salesforce.com
  • Self motivated and able to work at a fast pace
  • Knowledge of how technology works from a conceptual standpoint and can effectively and succinctly communicate this to an inexperienced audience
  • Ability to sell complicated products by making clear, actionable and relevant pitches to your target audience
  • Roll with the punches and adapt to a rapidly-changing environment
  • Ability to build relationships and command credibility with internal and external stakeholders
  • Superior communications skills, incredible writing skills and the ability to capture an audience during a presentation
  • Accurate forecasting and pipeline management
